Minotel is an association of more than 700 medium class and superior quality hotels spread across 32 different countries.
We have provided a B2C (business to consumer) and B2B (business to business) solution to facilitate bookings by the public, www.minotel.com, and a closed user group for partner Tour Operators.
All the hotels are available on a huge variety of third party web sites, consolidators and the major airline GDSs. A public set of simple and straightforward XML transactions provides easy access to the Minotel stock of hotels.
The system uses infoRM running on an SQL Server database. Originally running on an HP3000 multi-computer it was successfully migrated to a Windows server environment, along with a complete data conversion.
