Southsea Travel @ 21 are Independent Travel Consultants based in Southsea, Portsmouth. They are part of the Meon Valley Travel Group and seeing a gap in the local market for an
Independent Travel Agent; they opened the store and asked us to help
them with a fresh new website.
Web Design
As with any new customer, it was important that we learnt as much as
possible about the business and client base before we could begin the design
process. In this case, the emphasis of the business is their presence in the
local area, providing a personal service to the local community. By visiting
the premises, we could take in the general 'theme' of the store which then
gave us a base for the site design.
Southsea wanted a light theme being very shop orientated to emphasise their physical presence in the local area.
Email Marketing
As part of the Meon Valley Group and Staff Travel Direct, Southsea Travel
@ 21 wanted to set-up an email Newsletter featuring their latest offers and
deals. Southsea Travek @ 21 already had a substantial client database, so
they decided to start adding to this with a website sign-up feature for new
customers.

Search Engine Optimisation
The emphasis of Southsea Travel @ 21 is local Travel Agent for local
people. So, to ensure maximum exposure, we helped write the content of the
website with keywords and phrases in mind. We also gave a lot of advice on
Social Media Networking and integrated these elements into the website.
